Texas state representative and Texas A&M graduate Lyle Larson (R-San Antonio) has filed a bill that would bring the University of Texas & Texas A&M back together on the gridiron.

House Bill 412 would require the two schools to play an annual Thanksgiving week game or risk losing athletic scholarship money funded by the state.

The Aggies and Longhorns saw their 118-year football rivalry come to an end in 2011, when Texas defeated Texas A&M, 27-25.
