The speaker lineup has changed for the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce Economic Outlook Briefing Luncheon on Wednesday, August 20th.
The second special session in Austin is preventing Brazos Valley’s state senator and two state representatives from attending the luncheon.
President Glen Brewer says Dr. Dennis Jansen, Director of Texas A&M’s Private Enterprise Research Center, is still speaking as originally planned.
State Senator Charles Schwertner has recorded a video message, which will be followed by his Chief of Staff, Brady Vaughn, speaking on his behalf. Representative Paul Dyson of Bryan has recorded a video message. Representative Trey Wharton of Huntsville is sending Julie Porter, his Constituent Case Worker Director, to speak in place of him.
In addition to the original lineup, acting County Judge Kyle Kacal will also speak at the luncheon.
