Sox Roll Past Yanks in AL Wild Card Game

Xander Bogaerts and Kyle Schwarber belted early home runs and the Boston Red Sox rolled past the New York Yankees Tuesday night, 6-2 in the American League Wild Card Game.

Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi allowed one run on four hits while striking out eight over 5 1/3 innings.

With the win, Boston advances to take on the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Division Series.
