South Brazos County VFD Gets New Fire Engine

The South Brazos County Volunteer Fire Department has a new fire engine.

Chief Chet Barker says they’ve replaced a 1994 truck with a new program unit at a savings of more than $100,000 thousand dollars.

Barker says the $400,000 truck is being financed through a low interest federal loan.
