Siri, Astros offense erupts in win over Rangers

Yordan Alvarez and rookie Jose Siri both went yard, twice, as the Houston Astros steamrolled the Texas Rangers Monday night, 15-1 at Globe Life Field.

Siri became the first player in Major League history to hit two homers and drive in five runs in his first career start.

Alex Bregman also went deep for Houston, which improves to 84-59 on the year. Meanwhile, Texas falls to 53-90.

Game two of the Lone Star Series is Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. with broadcast on Zone 1150 AM & 93.7 FM.
