Running a red light Monday night in College Station led to a Houston man’s arrest on six charges.

According to the College Station police arrest report, 26 year old Kaleb Louis was initially accused of driving under the influence of marijuana and possessing a misdemeanor amount of weed.

That led to a search of the interior of the car, where the CSPD officer found more than $1,300 dollars in counterfeit money. Louis told the officer his girlfriend suggested using the $20 and $50 dollar counterfeit bills to buy drugs.

The officer also found six debit cards, a Texas drivers license, and an Oklahoma I-D card belonging to three other people. Louis told the officer all that belonged to one of the victims.

And when Louis was searched at the jail, officers found ecstasy pills.

As of Thursday afternoon, Louis remained in the Brazos County jail in lieu of bonds totaling $35,000 dollars.
