Rudder High Student Assault Complaint To Police & Bryan ISD

A Rudder High School student says she was assaulted by a teacher.

The Bryan police department has completed their investigation with making no arrests.

The teacher has been placed on leave by the Bryan school district until their investigation is completed.

BPD Sgt. Ryan Bona says no one was injured, and incorrect information about that led the department to issuing a news release.

Bona says their investigation ended after giving the student and her guardian an application to file a class “C” misdemeanor complaint in Bryan municipal court.

Bryan ISD spokesman Brandon Webb says the student is in school and Child and Protective Services has been notified of the incident.
