The Robertson County sheriff’s office had a shelter in place request in the Wheelock community Friday morning (November 21).

The request was lifted after the arrest of a Hearne man.

The Robertson County sheriff’s office website shows 50 year old Jason Pittman was charged with family violence assault involving impeding the victim’s breathing, family violence assault with a prior conviction, and unlawful possession of metal or body armor by a felon.

As of Friday afternoon, Pittman remained held in lieu of bonds totaling $150,000 dollars.

The sheriff’s notice for Wheelock residents to stay in their homes included closing FM 391 due to a large law enforcement presence. FM 391 has since reopened.
