HOUSTON (AP) _ The FBI is looking for an armed robber who hijacked an armored car making a delivery at a Houston supermarket.
FBI spokeswoman Shauna Dunlap says the van was parked outside a Kroger store when the gunman managed to get inside the vehicle while one of the guards was in the store Tuesday afternoon.
A second guard who had been inside the truck exchanged shots with the hijacker but the gunman got away with the vehicle. No one was injured in the gunfire.
The Houston Chronicle reports the truck was found later at a nearby apartment complex. The FBI believes the robber transferred the loot to a car he had stashed there. The amount of money taken has not been disclosed.
