From College Station police:

On July 11th CSPD responded to multiple burglary of habitations in the Pebble Creek Subdivision.

At 1436 hours CSPD received a report of a burglary in the 4600 block of St. Andrews.

At 1717 hours, CSPD received a report of a burglary of a habitation that was in progress in the 1100 block of Royal Adelade. Multiple officers responded as the suspects were seen fleeing the residence by the reporting person.

During the initial response CSPD officers established a perimeter and blocked traffic on Royal Adelade at Pebble Creek Parkway.

The responding officers searched the residence to ensure that no remaining suspects were inside of the home while additional officers canvassed the area.

Once the area was secure, the majority of the officers left the area and the roadway was immediately reopened. At this time the suspects have not been located.

Additional burglaries are also being reported at this time and they are all believed to be linked.

While investigating, CSPD became aware of posts to the NextDoor.com app reporting this incident as a shooting in progress. Officers in the area were only investigating a burglary and no there was no evidence of any shooting.

The College Station Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects and anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 979-764-3600.
