Texas A&M Football has halted in-person activities after a number of positive COVID-19 tests within the program, according to TexAgs.com’s Billy Liucci.

In the report, Liucci says the team has been conducting meetings via Zoom since Saturday. He adds that most of the cases concern vaccinated players.

WTAW has reached out to Texas A&M Athletics but has not received a response.

The No. 25 Aggies are scheduled to play No. 17 Wake Forest in the Gator Bowl on New Year’s Eve in Jacksonville, Florida.

The team is already expected to be without six starters due to transfers and players leaving early for the NFL Draft.
