Reopening Of College Station’s Benjamin Knox Gallery

College Station’s Benjamin Knox Gallery recently held its grand reopening, following a year of improvements and renovations.

A news release says “the landmark Benjamin Knox Gallery is even more of a beautiful showpiece for the Brazos Valley. The gallery of nationally celebrated artist Benjamin Knox of 37 years is a replica of the historic College Station depot.”

The news release goes on to say that “The overall facility is as an art gallery, an event venue, and as an art & business academy.”

Additionally, “The adjacent 120 year old caboose is a fully restored treasure available for wine tastings.”

The reopening includes a newly-painted locomotive and the release of Mr. Knox’s new wine label.

Knox has also started an academy of art and business to help the next generation of artists develop.

The Benjamin Knox Gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at 405 University Drive East in College Station.
