A Bryan police officer watching a vehicle pass by and seeing the reaction of the driver and two passengers led to all three being arrested on multiple drug charges.

According to the BPD arrest report, the officer noticed the driver, who was relaxed and leaned back in her seat, immediately sit up in a more rigid position with her chest close to the steering wheel and her hands gripping the wheel in a ten-two position.

The officer also noted the front seat passenger lean back and the back seat passenger put a hood over his head and started moving things around.

The officer then started following the car, then stopped it after the car failed to signal for a left turn.

Three more officers responded to the traffic stop.

The first officer smelled marijuana and K-2 coming out of the car. That led to a search of the car, where officers found what they believe to be crack cocaine, PCP, K-2, and a THC vape pen.

Between the driver and two passengers, officers seized seven cell phones and a metal rifle.

Arrested on charges of drug manufacturing and delivery were the driver, 31 year old Shaquita Bias of Hearne, the front seat passenger, 19 year old Anthony Oliver of Bryan, and the back seat passenger, 19 year old Minor Blackshear Jr. of Bryan. As of Friday afternoon, all three remained in jail.
