The Texas Rangers have signed a seven-year, $175 million deal with free agent short stop Marcus Semien.
The contract, the second largest in franchise history, was first reported by Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.
Semien is coming off a career season with the Toronto Blue Jays in which he he 45 home runs, 102 RBI and nabbed his first ever Gold Glove Award.
Texas also inked starter Jon Gray to a four-year, $56 million deal.
The hard-throwing right-hander started 29 games for Colorado in 2021, going 8-12 with a 4.59 ERA.
Outfielder Kole Calhoun signed a one-year, $5.2 million deal.
