In September 2022, tires and rims valued at $10,697.12 were stolen from four vehicles parked at a Bryan apartment complex. In Brazos County district court last week (April 2), a Brenham man pleaded guilty to felony theft. The plea agreement with 40 year old Rodney Rayonn Tates and the district attorney’s office has a prison sentence of three and a half years. There was no reference to paying restitution in the court documents. Online court records shows Tates was sentenced to two years in prison for felony theft of services that happened in 2015 and 12 months in a state jail for felony burglary of a building in 2007.

The 11th time that a 22 year old College Station man is in the Brazos County jail since August of 2021, is to await transport to a state prison. Online jail records show Jimmy Galvan Jr. will serve a five year sentence for evading arrest twice in a three day period in December of 2021. Online court records show in September 2025 that Galvan violated probation in both cases.
