A Bryan woman on probation after pleading guilty in Brazos County district court to assaulting two officers in 2021 returned to court to plead guilty to evading arrest from a Bryan police officer in October of 2024.

A plea agreement between 24 year old Rokeshia Henderson and the district attorney’s office included a two year prison term covering both felony crimes.

The BPD arrest report associated with the evading case said the officer had to stop the chase due to departmental policies. But Henderson was identified as the driver through a records check.

Online court records show in the officer assault, Henderson was originally sentenced to six years probation from a ten year prison term. That sentence also required her to serve 180 days in the county jail and write letters of apologies to the two officers.
