One Dead Following Gunfire South Of Bryan’s Midtown Park

One person is dead following gunfire Monday night three blocks south of Bryan’s Midtown Park.

Bryan police social media states the shooting in the area of South College and Sulphur Springs Road appears to be an isolated incident.

The person who died was identified as 22 year old Courtaney Jermaine O’Bryant of College Station.

BPD has not released any information that investigators might know about what led to the shooting.

Bryan Police responded to the 3300 hundred block of South College Avenue, between Villa Maria and Sulphur Springs Road, for a shooting on Monday night around 10:30 p.m.

According to a BPD tweet, officers found one victim with life-threatening injuries. They were transported to a local hospital.

No other details have been released.
