One Bryan Man Jailed On Charges In Seven Criminal Cases, Another Held On Charges In Four Cases

The 32nd time a Bryan man is booked in the Brazos County jail in almost 19 years, there are seven separate criminal cases. 40 year old Craig Burleson is being held on bonds totaling $655,000 dollars. That includes a $500,000 dollar bond on a murder charge in Harris County. The remaining cases are in Brazos County. Four cases are on charges earlier this year…accusing him of family violence assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possessing marijuana in a drug free zone, and bail jumping. Burleson is also accused of possessing a controlled substance and evidence tampering that took place the year before last.

A Bryan man who received probation for assaulting three family members several years ago is back in jail. 22 year old Marco Solis is being held on bonds totaling $85,000 dollars. Solis admitted to assaulting a man and woman over the age of 65 five years ago and two more victims…one who was also elderly…three years ago. According to online records, Solis has violated terms of his probation 31 times over a 15 month period. A majority of the violations involve failing to submit for drug and alcohol tests. Solis is also in jail after failing to make a court appearance in April on a drunk driving charge.
