Each game will be broadcast on SEC Network+ and may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.

Friday’s opener marks the fourth meeting all-time between the clubs. Penn (0-0) claimed the series in 2022, besting the Maroon & White in two of three contests.

The carousel of pitchers for the Aggies consists of Shane Sdao on Friday night, Weston Moss on Saturday and Aiden Sims on Sunday. All three starters earned a win on Opening Weekend against Tennessee Tech. Nationally, Texas A&M ranks first in K/BB ratio (8.20) and walks allowed per nine innings (1.32).

The Maroon & White are off to a 4-0 start after an Opening Weekend series sweep over Tennessee Tech, outscoring the Golden Eagles 45-14. The 45 runs were the most scored by Ol’ Sarge’s Charges in an Opening Weekend series since 2017.

The Aggies went on to win their first midweek contest against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 8-3. Three true freshmen hit home runs in the win, including the first career home run for Boston Kellner and Jorian Wilson, as well as Nico Partida’s second of the year.

Offensively, Texas A&M leads the country in slugging percentage (.759) and ranks inside the top 10 in batting average (.394), home runs (12), on-base percentage (.520) and runs per game (13.3).

Caden Sorrell’s efforts at the plate earned him SEC Player of the Week, the first weekly honor of his career. In three games on Opening Weekend, the Highland Village, Texas, native went 9-for-15 with three home runs, 10 RBI, seven runs scored and a pair of stolen bases. The junior belted two homers to compliment five RBI on Opening Day. He concluded the series with a four-hit performance in Sunday’s finale.
