BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 19 Texas A&M baseball team dropped the series finale to No. 17 Alabama, 2-0, Sunday afternoon at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
Starter Myles Patton suffered the loss despite tossing 5.2 innings of one-run baseball to go along with six strikeouts. In relief, Weston Moss allowed one run over 3.1 frames and struck out four.
The Crimson Tide (20-1, 3-0) broke through on the scoreboard with an RBI double down the left field line in the sixth and added insurance in the eighth with a solo homer to right center.
The Aggies (10-9, 0-3) were held to four hits on the afternoon and retired in order over the final two frames as they fell 2-0.

- Freshman Sam Erickson recorded the first hit of his collegiate career.
