The city of College Station is alerting motorists of new traffic signals.

Tuesday (January 6) was the first day the lights were activated at Longmire Drive and Barron Road.

The signals began with flashing red in all directions, which means motorists have to stop in all directions.

The signals will become fully operational on January 14.

The city’s Facebook page said the signals were paid for by IL Texas Aggieland High School.
