Over 4,300 abused children in the Brazos Valley and their families have been served the last 15 years by the non-profit Scotty’s House.
Since 2002, volunteers have also been working on expanding their offices. That work has finished and moving takes place soon.
Sheriff Chris Kirk, President of the Scotty’s House board, accepted a proclamation at the last Bryan City Council meeting.
Comments from Chris Kirk.
Kirk says they’re moving into a 7,000 square foot building, nearly six times the size of the former office.
A community open house is Monday, December 6th, from 3 until 5 p.m. at 2424 Kent Street in Bryan, just off Villa Maria north of Briarcrest.
