Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach invites the community in celebrating the official ribbon cutting of Ally’s Place.
Andrea Buck, APO Director of Outreach, says the new maternity home was created to support women in need.
“They get to have room and board for free. They also get to have free childcare for their child,” says Buck.
Buck says residents of Ally’s Place must be 18 years or older, enrolled in school, and have a job.
“The community aspect and the care and intention with wanting to really be a full person who has an education, who has a job. And to have someone to go to when they have questions, is huge,” says Buck.
Buck says residents also have access to Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach classes and resources.
“We want people to feel like they have the support and resources through APO to make the best next decisions for them and their child,” says Buck.
Ally’s Place is located at 550 Fraternity Row in College Station.
The ribbon cutting is Wednesday, December 3rd at 4:30 p.m. followed by tours of the facility.
