Former Texas A&M Health Science Center chief executive Brett Giroir has a new employer.
Dr. Giroir posted on his Twitter account Tuesday that he’s joining the Houston-based Texas Medical Center as part of their healthcare technology accelerator and their health policy institute.
Giroir stated his big policy issues are improving the Veterans Administration health system, the United States security and resiliency against biothreats, and expanding health care access in Texas.
It was a month ago Wednesday that Giroir says he resigned as opposed to being fired from A&M.
