
A survey team from the National Weather Service office in Houston has issued details of Wednesday’s tornado just outside Bryan’s east city limits.
The EF-2 tornado had estimated maximum winds of 120 miles per hour and a damage path of between 50 and 100 yards.
The tornado touched down at FM 1179 and Coyote Run and continued for about five minutes and approximately 1.6 miles before dissipating near Merka Drive and east of Old Reliance Road.
One person was injured, who was inside one of four commercial buildings and warehouses that was damaged. One home was also damaged.
