Names Chosen For Bryan ISD’s Career And Technology Education Center

The Bryan school board has approved three names for the district’s new career and technology education (CTE) center.

First, the overall property will be known as the career and technical education complex.

Two buildings on that property were named for longtime Bryan ISD educators.

The office and classroom building was named for the late Becky Seale, a 47 year employee and a district graduate.

The lab building where students will work on projects was named for Mike Kristynik, whose 27 year career in BISD included developing CTE courses.

The board approved recommendations from a committee that included district employees, students, and a community member.
