Local and state investigators inspected the inventory of two Bryan pawn stores Monday.
Officer Jon Agnew of the Bryan Police Department says search warrants were executed at the Top Dollar locations at Texas and Carson and Texas and Enfield.
Agnew says the search warrants, which contained a list of specific items that were reported stolen, followed detectives noting a pattern developing at the two stores.
Agnew says participating agencies included College Station Police, Brazos County Sheriff’s Office, and the State Comptroller’s Office of Consumer Credit.
Agnew also issued a reminder to keep a list of your personal property, take pictures, and mark items with a form of identification such as your drivers license number.
