More Multimillion Dollar Projects Coming To Texas A&M Athletics

The future opening of Texas A&M’s new outdoor track and the first full season of the softball team’s new stadium is not the end of construction projects involving Aggie athletics.

Jeff Toole, who is the A&M athletic department’s chief financial officer, talked about three upcoming projects.

On the Gary Blair radio show, Toole announced a more than $7 million dollar expansion of the Aggie swimming and diving team’s facilities, which will include new locker rooms, a team lounge, a training area, and coaches offices.

Money has been raised for a $2.5 million dollar makeover of the women’s basketball team locker room.

And the football team’s Davis player development center is getting astroturf for player testing and a nutrition center.

Coach Blair also talked the donors to the women’s basketball locker room upgrade on his radio show.
