More Equipment Is Purchased For Bryan ISD’s New CTE Center

The Bryan school district continues to buy equipment for its new career and technology center, thanks to a state grant.

Superintendent Christie Whitbeck confirmed from CTE director David Reynolds that no bids were solicited, in part because the same manufacturer is used in technology programs at Texas A&M…which helped Bryan ISD design the new lab.

Reynolds says the new equipment will be used to incorporate these machines into existing robotic equipment.

The board unanimously approved the nearly $300,000 dollar purchase at their last meeting.
