MLB Owners, Players at an Impasse

Major League Baseball is in a work stoppage for the first time in 27 years.

The sport’s collective bargaining agreement expired last night and owners immediately locked out players in a move that threatens spring training and opening day.

The lockout comes just hours after the Texas Rangers announced the signings of superstar free agents Corey Seager and Marcus Semien.
