Missing Houston-area Boy Recovered Safely

SUGAR LAND, Texas (AP) _ Investigators say a 9-year-old Houston-area boy who disappeared after getting off a school bus has been found unharmed and a woman is sought.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office says Amsal Dhuka of the Sugar Land area was located before dawn Tuesday.

Spokesman Bob Haenel says a tip led to the boy, who was found at a structure about 10 miles from where he disappeared Monday afternoon. Further details on the site were not immediately released.

Authorities are looking for a person of interest identified as 34-year-old Kismat Momin. Haenel says she is not believed to have any relationship with the family. Momin has not been charged.

The boy’s disappearance sparked an Amber Alert and an overnight search by law officers and dozens of volunteers.
