HOUSTON (AP) _ A woman has been reunited with the high school class ring she lost in 1974 after archeologists working at the San Jacinto battlefield unearthed it.
Just weeks after Judith Goode Fesler exchanged class rings with her then-boyfriend in the summer of 1974, the couple was hanging out at the battlefield and her ring flew off his pinky finger. They searched, but couldn’t find it.
On Wednesday, the park superintendent handed her the 1973 class ring from Deer Park High School with her initials on it.
