Members Selected For Brazos County’s New Regional Mobility Authority

Leadership of Brazos County’s new Regional Mobility Authority (RMA) have been finalized.

Governor Abbott has named Tedi Ellison of College Station to chair the entity that is designed to bring more state money for transportation projects.

According to the governor’s office, Ellison has been on multiple boards related to transportation issues.

Ellison, who currently oversees business and office operations for the law firm founded by her husband, currently serves on the advisory board of the Bush School at Texas A&M.

Earlier this month, Brazos County commissioners approved the rest of the governing body.

Representing College Station is local civil engineering firm co-owner Veronica Morgan.

Bryan’s representative is former councilwoman Ann Horton.

Texas A&M’s representative is the retired director of the Texas Transportation Institute, Dennis Christiansen.

And Brazos County’s representative is former county engineer Alan Munger.
