Man Facing Multiple Charges After Striking Two Pedestrians in Northgate

A man was arrested after College Station Police say he hit two pedestrians with his truck then drove away.

Officers responded to reports that two people had been injured near the intersection of Church Avenue and Nagle Street in the Northgate District shortly after 1:00am Saturday morning. One of the victims complained of pain in his left hip. The second said he had pain in the back of his head and felt numbness in his left hand.

The driver failed to stop and render aid, but a witness was able to capture a picture of his license plate. 26-year-old Michael Dillon McDuffie, of Montgomery, TX, was located nearby.

McDuffie was charged with Collision Involving Injury, two counts of Collision Involving a Pedestrian, and Driving While Intoxicated With a Blood Alcohol Concentration greater than 0.15. He was also booked for Driving with an Expired Registration and Driving With an Invalid License.

McDuffie is free on $85,000 bond.
