Makeover Underway At Northgate Parking Garage

The city of College Station’s Northgate parking garage is getting its most extensive repairs since it opened in 2000.

Community Services business manager Gus Roman says the city council awarded a $327,000 thousand dollar contract last Thursday, and equipment started arriving Monday.

The first level will be closed two to three weeks as restriping takes place.

Then almost all of those spaces will reopen as attention will turn outside towards concrete and brick repairs.

Roman says this will complete three years of repairs at the city garage.

More information about purchasing a contract at the Northgate garage is available online at cstx.gov/parking.
