The Texas A&M University Police Department, the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office, and the College Station Police Department presented the American Cancer Society with a check for $10,923 on Monday, which they raised through the No-Shave November Campaign.

Officers who donated money were allowed to grow goatees and beards, which is typically prohibited. Female officers were able to join by donating money to wear colored nail polish.

At the end of November, the police chiefs extended the fundraiser through January 2, 2018 to raise more money.
