1:00-2:00 p.m. 9/11 Day of Terror: The story will be told through 911 calls, police radio calls and the recorded sounds of 9/11/2001. No commercials and no announcers.

Local events on Friday, September 9th:
9:00 a.m. A 10th anniversary 9-11 Remembrance Program will be held in front of the Metro Center building at 3833 South Texas Ave. in Bryan.
10:00 a.m. Memorial service at the George Bush Library with Texas Task Force 1.
11:30 a.m. Free barbeque cookout at the Kroger on Rock Prairie Road for local firefighters and police officers. The public is invited to eat for free and make a donation to 9/11 families.

Local events on Sunday, September 11th:
7:40 a.m. Members of the College Station and Bryan fire departments will be on hand early Sunday when the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial observes the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex. The ceremony will include a wreath placement at the War on Terror Memorial to honor 9/11 victims and all first responders.
10:30 a.m. Memorial service at Aldersgate Church, 2201 Earl Rudder Freeway South in College Station.
3:00 p.m. An interfaith memorial program for the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1100 Carter Creek Parkway in Bryan. Admission is free. The program features speakers representing a variety of faiths along with musical artists Emily Pulley, Karan Chavis, M.A. Sterling, Bob Leslie, the Marian Anderson String Quartet, Alexa Cepeda and Erhan Gulen. A reception will be held following the program.
4:00 p.m. St. Thomas Episcopal Church is hosting a cultural fair and concert in recognition of the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks. Art, music, food, henna painting. Free and open to the public. St. Thomas is located at 906 George Bush Drive across from the south side of the A & M campus.
On the Texas A&M University campus Sunday:
Early Sunday morning, members of the Corps of Cadets will place a wreath at the Freedom from Terrorism Memorial near the Quad. That will be followed Sunday evening with the cadets holding a formation on the quad while “Echo Taps” is played in memory of those who died.
The Freedom from Terrorism Memorial is located at the corner of Coke and Lubbock streets near the Quadrangle. It includes a 22-foot vertical concrete wall with a break between two slabs and has an array of 36 cubes. It is a tribute to the response to the 9/11 attacks. In 2006, students submitted designs for a memorial and out of 27 entries, the design by architecture graduate students Jorge Martinez, David McMillin, Hernan Molina and Mariano Ortiz was chosen.
Also on Sunday, the Memorial Student Center Leadership Development & Service Programming Council will honor fallen firefighters by helping the first responders in the local community. They will take food and supplies to local firefighters to thank them for their service.
On the A&M campus Monday, September 12:
The Leadership Development & Service Programming Council will offer the campus community an opportunity to remember those who died in 9/11 attacks. During the day, the names of the fallen will be read in the Academic Plaza and the students will pass out ribbons as a remembrance.
