Juvenile Charged With Deadly Conduct After August Shooting in Bryan

Bryan Police announced today that a subject has been charged in connection with a shooting that took place last month. BPD responded to the area of West 24th Street and Brazos Street around 8:30pm on August 19, 2026 after receiving multiple reports of gunfire.

When officers arrived, they found spent shell casings in the intersection. One home and one vehicle were struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported.

An investigation determined that the shooting was related to a physical altercation that occurred earlier that week.

Arrest warrants for two counts of Deadly Conduct were issued on a juvenile suspect who was already in the custody of the Brazos County Juvenile Detention Center.
