A 19 year old Bryan man returned to the Brazos County jail August 13th to start serving six months for crimes in August of 2024 and in March of 2023. Juan Arredondo III was arrested on warrants after failing to voluntarily turn himself in following sentencing hearings on July 23rd. The punishment includes threatening to fire a gun at a Rudder High School pep rally, a threat that was heard by three students. Online records show it is the sixth time Arredondo has been in jail since March of 2023.
A Navasota man and the Brazos County district attorney’s office reach a plea agreement on two felony crimes that took place more than four years ago. 43 year old Benjamin Molina was sentenced to ten years in prison for evading arrest in November 2020 and possessing with intent to sell a controlled substance in February 2021. The sentences that were issued last Friday (August 22), followed prosecutors in March 2021 seizing $8,074 dollars in cash belonging to Molina.
