90 days in jail has started for a College Station woman who admitted stealing money last year from the local Habitat for Humanity and a medical office.
19 year old Kelli Williams also has a two year prison term hanging over her head. Brazos County Magistrate Judge Glynis Gore ordered five years probation including 200 hours of community service and writing letters to all of Williams’ victims.
The winter before last, over $5,200 dollars was reported missing from the Habitat office, blamed on identity theft. Habitat’s bank reimbursed the non-profit for most of the loss.
Williams was ordered to pay over $1,700 dollars in restitution remaining at Habitat along with The Elms Orthodontics.
