Internal Promotions At The Cities Of College Station And Bryan

Familiar faces with the city of Bryan and city of College Station have been promoted.

The city of College Station has a new public works director following an eight month vacancy. The city manager has announced the promotion of the city’s assistant director of capital projects the last seven years. Emily Fisher, who is a College Station native, take over a department with 129 people and an operating budget of nearly $16 million dollars. A city news release noted Fisher’s role in the recently opened city hall and police department buildings, the Lick Creek nature center, and expanding the Ringer library.

Bryan city council members spent the better part of ten minutes at their last meeting congratulating Thomas Leeper on his promotion to city attorney. Leeper has been with the city for six years, and the last five months as interim city attorney, which is one of the positions that is hired by the council.
