Improperly Discarded Smoking Materials Believed To Be The Cause Of A College Station Apartment Fire

Residents of two College Station apartments were displaced following a fire that was reported Sunday during the noon hour.

College Station fire investigators believe the cause was improperly discarded smoking materials.

No one was home at the time of the fire at the Pearl apartments.

The fire was contained to the bedroom where the fire started.

Also displaced was a family of five in a neighboring apartment of the 16 unit building.

None of the residents were injured.
