Movement continues towards the Greater Houston YMCA expanding to Bryan and College Station.
“Y” vice president Ray Purvis told the Bryan city council they’ll be back in a few months and ask for some partnership opportunities.
Purvis spent Tuesday visiting the council and representatives at Blinn College, St. Joseph Regional Health Center, and Texas A&M.
Purvis says the “Y” is looking at possibly partnering with Blinn to operate a recreation center in Bryan, and in College Station possibly open a full service facility with a natatorium along Highway 6.
