Houston Metro Bus Crash

HOUSTON (AP) _ Both drivers suffered minor injuries after the front of a Metro bus in Houston ended up lodged in a vacant building following a collision with an SUV.

The front of the bus remained stuck in the former day care center early Tuesday.

Houston police are trying to determine whether one of the vehicles ran a red light in the accident around 7 p.m. Monday.

Metro spokeswoman Raequel Roberts says both drivers had non-life threatening injuries and they were talking at the scene.

Roberts says a city building inspector was expected to check the structure before the bus, which did not have any passengers on board when the wreck happened, is removed.
