Home security video helps Bryan police catch a bicycle thief.
Neighbors who watched the victim’s security video recognized the suspect, who was then identified by officers who have had prior contact.
90 minutes after the victim contact BPD, the suspect was found about a mile and a half away.
According to the arrest report, 28 year old Jordan Tullous initially denied taking the $90 dollar bicycle from a carport.
But Tullous confessed after his friend told officers where he hid the bicycle.
According to online records, this is Tullous’s fourth time in jail since April, the ninth time in two years, and the 18th time in seven years.
Two weeks ago, he pleaded guilty in county court at law to three misdemeanors and was sentenced to a total of 275 days in jail.
Last December, he pleaded guilty to a felony and two misdemeanors and was sentenced to a combined 180 days in jail.
