CSPD released further details regarding this offense. It is now known that it was a woman who was hospitalized after being struck by an SUV.
Police said the suspect in the SUV, a white male, was arguing with another male in the parking lot of the Doux Chene apartment complex near Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Southwood Drive.
The victim was a 19 year old female from College Station. She was struck by the suspect vehicle as it fled the area. The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing northbound on Southwood Drive.
Further details have been made available on the suspect vehicle:
- Newer (possibly 2012 or later) black colored SUV, described as possibly being a Jeep Liberty or Cherokee
- Vehicle is described as having bluish-colored LED or Halogen headlights
- Interior of vehicle is described as having blue accent lighting with interior wood paneling accents/decor

College Station Police is asking for assistance in helping find a hit and run driver.
A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by someone he knows Saturday morning at 1:42 a.m. in the area of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Southwood Drive. (See update)
Investigators were told the suspect was sitting inside his vehicle, and having a verbal confrontation with another male, who was standing outside his vehicle.
It was reported that the victim walked in front of the suspect’s vehicle, when the suspect drove forward and struck the victim with the driver’s side of the vehicle.
The suspect vehicle left the scene without checking on the injured person or leaving any identifying information.
Witness at the scene described the suspect’s vehicle being a mid-sized SUV, and dark in color.
The suspect was described as a white male with blonde hair, early 20’s, and stocky build.
