Texas A&M President’s Update On Filling Leadership Positions
Texas A&M’s president posts on his website, the status of filling vacancies for three deans and two vice presidents on the flagship campus. The update from Mark Welsh says he and the provost are reviewing a selection committee’s choice to be the next dean of the college of architecture. Two candidates for dean of the pharmacy college have completed on-campus interviews. And the search committee for the next dean of the college of veterinary medicine and biomedical sciences is reviewing candidates. As for vice presidents, the search committee for VP for student affairs is selecting finalists that could be interviewed as early as next month. And the search committee has been named to review candidates for VP for of research.
