Grammar Fans Will Love Prop Three

Proposition Three on the City of Bryan ballot for May 9 deals with commas and drainage.

City Secretary Mary Lynn Stratta says the proposal is being made because they only have a chance to make small “housekeeping” changes to the charter every two years.

Proposition Three would both add and delete commas from the charter where needed.

It would also change the word “drain” to “drainage” at one specific point in the document.

Stratta says there are no substantive changes that would take place as a result of this ballot measure.
