College Station police responding to a hit and run crash Monday morning (July 29) results in the driver who took off returning to jail for the fourth time in seven weeks.

29 year old Edgar Garza was arrested for causing the crash, fleeing from an officer, DWI, and possessing methamphetamine and marijuana in a drug free zone.

Online court records show Garza is awaiting three trials…one on charges of entering one apartment and attempting to enter a second apartment around four in the morning on July 15th, another for indecent exposure on May 9th, and the third for falsifying a drug test on May 7th.

As of July 31, Garza remains jail in lieu of bonds from Monday’s arrest totaling $22,000 dollars.
