Texas A&M is one of two schools (UCLA) in the country to boast two male athletes competing in this year’s Olympic Games in men’s tennis. This marks the first time in program history where two Aggies will represent the Maroon & White at the Olympics.

Krajicek will compete in men’s doubles for the second-straight Olympic games after coming in fourth at the 2020 Olympics. His partner is Rajeev Ram, who is ranked No. 5 in doubles this year. The Brandon, Florida, native is ranked No. 21 in doubles, according to the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) ranking. The 2011 NCAA Doubles Champion finished last season as the No. 1 ranked doubles player in the world and won his first ever Grand Slam at the 2023 French Open in Paris. Krajicek and Ram begin their Olympic journey versus the pairing of Alexei Popyrin and Alex de Minaur of Australia at 10 a.m. CT Saturday.

Habib will take part in men’s singles and doubles for the first Olympic action of his career. Habib is ranked No. 275 in singles and No. 303 in doubles. He will be playing with partner Benjamin Hassan who has a ranking of No. 391. The three-time ITA All-American was a late addition to the singles rotation for Lebanon, after replacing a teammate who is sidelined with injury. In the first round, Habib will take on world No. 3 and 2024 Wimbledon Champion Carlos Alcarez in singles of Spain at 5 a.m. Saturday. In doubles, him and Hassan will play the Australian duo of Matthew Ebden and John Peers on Sunday.

Krajicek lettered for the Aggies from 2008-11 and was inducted into the Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021. Habib had a storied career from 2017-21 where he was on Sweet 16 (2017), Final Four (2018) and Elite Eight (2021) teams for the Maroon & White.
